Abstract:Citri Grandis Exocarpium with both medicinal and edible values is rich in flavonoids，polysaccharides，and volatile components，exhibiting multiple effects，such as relieving cough and resolving phlegm，reducing inflammation，regulating blood lipids，lowering blood glucose，inhibiting tumors，treating alcoholic liver injury，alleviating fatigue，preventing Alzheimer′s disease，and mitigating oxidative stress. This article reviewed the relevant studies on Citri Grandis Exocarpium that were published both at home and abroad in the past fifteen years，and analyzed the extraction methods of its active ingredients，pharmacological effects，and applications in the fields of food and medicine，providing a theoretical basis for the in-depth research on Citri Grandis Exocarpium and the development of related products.
