中文摘要: Ⅱ型糖尿病(type 2 diabetes mellitus,T2DM)主要由胰岛素抵抗和胰岛β 细胞功能不足共同作用导致,进而引起患者体内的糖代谢失衡。该研究以烟酸铬和部分B族维生素为研究对象,持续灌胃Ⅱ型糖尿病小鼠28 d,观察小鼠的体质量、摄食量、血糖、糖耐量、血清胰岛素、胰岛素抵抗指数(homeostatic model assessment for insulin resistance,HOMA-IR)、胰岛β 细胞功能指数(homeostasis model assessment of β-cell function index,HOMA-β)和葡萄糖激酶(glucokinase,GK)指标水平的变化,评估这两种物质对Ⅱ型糖尿病小鼠的影响。研究结果显示,单独烟酸铬、部分B族维生素以及二者复配低、中、高剂量组均能在不同程度上缓解Ⅱ型糖尿病小鼠体质量减轻、摄食量增多的病症,明显降低其空腹血糖、血清胰岛素和GK水平,减少胰岛素抵抗,改善糖耐量。
Abstract:Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is primarily caused by a combination of insulin resistance and insufficient function of pancreatic β-cells,which leads to an imbalance in the sugar metabolism. The mouse model of T2DM was administrated with chromium nicotinate and certain B vitamins by gavage for 28 consecutive days,and changes in body weight,food intake,blood glucose level,glucose tolerance,serum insulin,homeostatic model assessment for insulin resistance (HOMA-IR),homeostasis model assessment of β-cell function index (HOMA-β),and glucokinase (GK) were measured. The effects of these two substances on T2DM mice were assessed. The results showed that both chromium nicotinate and B vitamins,when used alone or in combination,at low,medium,and high doses,alleviated the weight loss and increased the food intake of T2DM mice to varying degrees. They significantly lowered the fasting blood glucose,serum insulin,and GK levels,reduced insulin resistance,and improved glucose tolerance.
