Abstract:As one of the most abundant polyphenol sources in the plant kingdom，Aronia melanocarpa is rich in procyanidin，anthocyanins， flavonols， phenolic acid， and other phenolic compounds.It has high application value in the fields of bioengineering and food health.This article introduced the main components of Aronia melanocarpa， discussed the progression of research into its functional and application status comprehensively，and explored the prospects of Aronia melanocarpa to provide additional theoretical guidance for its further development and utilization.
