Abstract:Cronobacter spp.is a food-borne conditional pathogen that causes necrotizing enterocolitis,bacteremia and meningitis in newborns and infants with a mortality rate of up to 80%.Because Cronobacter spp.is harmful to certain groups such as infants and the elderly,it is essential for the prevention and treatment of Cronobacter spp.infection.This article was described the latest research progress of some inhibitors of Cronobacter spp.,including plant secondary metabolites,organic acids,lactoferrin,and nanoparticles.
