Abstract:Current studies had revealed that green tea extracts had significantly hepataprotective effect.The scientists have paid extensive attention to the research in this field.The effects and mechanisms of green tea and bioactive component against liver injury and the research of improving the biological availability were introduced.The safety of the green tea extracts was analyzed.In addition，the future development trend had also been discussed.
