Abstract:Probiotic embedding can enhance the protection of probiotics and improve their survival in the gastrointestinal tract. Prebiotics can be selectively utilized and transformed by intestinal flora to promote the health of the host. The physiological efficacy of probiotics,commonly used wall materials for probiotic embedding,current status of embedding technologies and applications,and co-embedding technologies of probiotics and prebiotics were reviewed,with the aim of providing a theoretical basis for the development and utilization of probiotic preparations.
