Abstract:Nanfeng tangerine is a special variety of Citrus in Jiangxi province，which is characterized by rich nutrition and good taste. Nanfeng tangerine is popular owing to its rich amino acids，vitamins，trace elements，and bioactive substances such as flavonoids，limonoids，and phenolic acids.The flourishing of Nanfeng tangerine industry is accompanied with the emerging problems in postharvest preservation and the increasing types of processed products. On the basis of the review of the research progress in the processing and preservation of Nanfeng tangerine，the prospect in this field was put forward，which would provide a theoretical reference for the future development and utilization of Nanfeng tangerine.
