Abstract:Diabetes，a disease that is no longer related to affluence，and on a global scale.Its wide distribution and concomitant high-risk complications seriously affect human health and development.At present，it is a trend to find effective drugs from the ocean，especially marine algae，which have high hypoglycemic activity.This article reviewed the material diversity and identification methods of hypoglycemic seaweed in order to provide a basis for the development of marine hypoglycemic drugs and health products.
