Abstract:Pine pollen is dried pollen of Pinus massoniana Lamb.，Pinus tabuli formis Carr.，or plants of the same genus.Pine pollen as edible and medicinal material，which contains many active ingredients and health benefits.At present，the research on pine pollen mainly focuses on its active ingredients and basic functions.It summarized the extraction and composition characterization of phytosterols，flavonoids，polysaccharides and other active substances in pine pollen as well as the main functions of active substances such as anti-fatigue，antioxidation，protection of liver and cardiovascular，etc，which provides the basis for further theoretical and applied research.
