Abstract:Porphyra yezoensis possesses antioxidant， anti-tumor， hypotensive， hypolipidemic and immunity enhancement activities. Biological activities of main bioactive components （including polysaccharides， phyco－ biliprotein， polypeptide， polyphenols） in Porphyra yezoensis were summarized. The reference for reasonable application of Porphyra yezoensis resources was proposed .
