Abstract:Porphyra yezoensis possesses antioxidant, anti-tumor, hypotensive, hypolipidemic and immunity enhancement activities. Biological activities of main bioactive components (including polysaccharides, phyco- biliprotein, polypeptide, polyphenols) in Porphyra yezoensis were summarized. The reference for reasonable application of Porphyra yezoensis resources was proposed .
