Abstract:The development status of food machinery in China were analyzed. The food safety problems exposed in food machinery in recent years were introduced in detail. These problems were described through the four as－ pects： the level of automation， mechanical erosion， lubricating oil specification， and pathogenic bacteria. The prevention measures and the applications and researches of new technologies were introduced one by one. The relatedness between food safety and food machinery in China was pointed out， and the improving suggestions of food machinery were put forward.
