Abstract:Spirulina platensis has been used as a source of protein and vitamin supplements，and has been sold as a health drink or pills in tablet form without any undesirable effect on human.Futhermore，the biological activities of its polysaccharides，phycocyanin and proteolytic peptides also attract widespread attention.This article reviews the polysaccharide of spirulina platensis（PSP），phycocyanin and proteolytic peptides of anti-tumor effect and its mechanism.
