Abstract:Synsepalum dulcificum contains miraculin，which is a substance that has an unusual ability to modify a sour taste into sweet taste.With the research on S.dulcificum by researchers here and abroad，it was found that S.dulcificum contained many substances which were able to improve health.The current research progresses of the chemical constituents and bioactivities of S.dulcificum were reviewed in this article in order to provide a reference for further research.
