Abstract:In recent years， food safety accidents cause by foodborne pathogenic bacteria occurre frequently. In－ fection caused by Salmonella， Staphyloccocus aureus， Escherichia coli， Listeria monocytogenes and other pathogens is particularly common. In the diagnosis， the commonly used detection methods of foodborne pathogens generally require complex instrumentation， cumbersome operation steps， which is not conducive to on-site testing. Therefore， it is very important to establish a rapid and accurate detection method for foodborne pathogens. Because of the advantages of convenient carrying， high sensitivity， high efficiency， low cost， and so on， the strip test method is widely used in the rapid detection of foodborne pathogens. The new strip test method and its application in the detection field of foodborne pathogens were summarized in this paper.
